Transfer ratios come from each program's official terms as of September 2026, including the new Citi and Capital One partnerships with Japan Airlines. Citi ratios shown are for annual fee cards. Most programs transfer 1:1. Notable exceptions: Amex to Hilton is 1:2, Amex to JetBlue is 250:200, and Capital One to Accor is 2:1. Transfers are almost always final, so confirm with the program before you move points. Hawaiʻi-friendly programs are tagged.

How this data works. Our automated check searches each bank separately every day. Bonuses marked "Verified by HRT" were confirmed by our team; the rest are published automatically. Always confirm the current offer with the transfer partner before moving points. Hawaii Reward Travel may be compensated by card issuers and affiliate partners.

Eligibility is set by American Express and judged at the time of purchase. Always confirm the "Qualifies for Resy Credit" box on the venue's own Resy page before you pay, then screenshot it. Venues marked not yet eligible arrived through the Tock merger on August 11, 2026. Amex has said select U.S. Tock venues become eligible starting September 15, 2026.

How we would pay for these

The points and miles angle on resident rates

Kamaʻāina rates are cash rates

That is good news for us. You earn on the spend instead of burning points, and a 30 percent resident rate often beats the same night booked with points.

Book direct with the property

Third party sites usually will not give you points or elite night credit, and most kamaʻāina rates require you to book on the hotel's own site anyway.

Confirm earning before you pay

Some discounted resident rates are excluded from loyalty earning and elite credit. Ask at booking rather than after checkout.

Bring your Hawaiʻi ID

Nearly every offer here requires proof of residency at check in or at the door. A driver license or state ID is the standard.

How the value score works

The score is ours. We read each offer and weight four things: the size of the discount on the main rate or ticket, any fees that get waived or cut such as parking and resort fees, the extras thrown in such as breakfast, upgrades or late check out, and the dollar value the business states for those extras. An offer that says "up to" a number is discounted slightly, because in practice you rarely get the top of that range.

A high score means the offer is generous relative to the others on this board. It does not mean the rate itself is cheap, and it cannot tell you what the property will actually quote you on your dates. Use it to decide what is worth a look, then check the real numbers.

About these offers. Offers are published by each participating business for Hawaiʻi residents. Hawaii Reward Travel is not affiliated with these businesses unless noted.

Rates, dates, blackout periods and residency requirements are set by each business and change without notice. Confirm everything directly with the business before you book or travel. Nothing here is a guarantee of availability or price.
